Ch 9, turn and crochet 1 tr (US dc) in 3rd ch from hook. Crochet 2 tr in each of following 5 ch = 12 tr. Turn. Ch 3, then 5 tr in space between 1st and 2nd tr from prev row. *skip 2 tr, and in next space crochet 5 tr*, repeat *-* = 6 petals. Cut yarn. Roll together the rose and fasten with a few stitches.
