------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- RIDGE/GARTER STITCH (worked back and forth): Knit all rows. 1 ridge = knit 2 rows. RIDGE/GARTER STITCH (worked in the round): 1 ridge in height = 2 rounds; Knit 1 round and purl 1 round. PATTERN: See diagram A.1. The diagram shows all rows in the pattern from the right side. Choose diagram for your size. INCREASE TIP: All increases are worked from the right side. At beginning of row (left front piece): Increase after 4 stitches. Work the first 4 stitches as before, make 1 yarn over, which is worked twisted on the next row and then worked into the rib. At end of row (right front piece): Work until there are 4 stitches left, make 1 yarn over and work the rest of the row as before. The yarn over is worked twisted on the next row and then worked into the rib. DECREASE TIP (for sleeves): Decrease 1 stitch on either side of the marker-thread as follows: Work until there are 3 stitches left before the marker-thread, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker-thread sits between these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch (2 stitches decreased). ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The back and front pieces are worked separately, top down and back and forth, as far as the armholes. The pieces are joined and continued in the round. The sleeves are worked in the round with short circular needle/double pointed needles. The neck is worked in the round, after the piece has been sewn together. LEFT BACK SHOULDER: Cast on 21-23-21-23-25-27 stitches with circular needle size 6 MM = US 10 and DROPS Melody. Purl 1 row from the wrong side. Then work as follows from the right side: 1 edge stitch in GARTER STITCH – read description above, * knit 1, purl 1 *, work from *-* until there are 2 stitches left, knit 1 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. When the piece measures 2 cm = ¾" (after a row from the wrong side), place the stitches on a thread or extra needle, cut the strand. RIGHT BACK SHOULDER: Cast on 21-23-21-23-25-27 stitches with circular needle size 6 MM = US 10 and DROPS Melody. Purl 1 row from the wrong side. Then work as follows from the right side: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, * knit 1, purl 1 *, work from *-* until there are 2 stitches left, knit 1 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. When the piece measures 2 cm = ¾" work as follows, from the right side: Work the 21-23-21-23-25-27 right shoulder stitches, cast on 21-23-27-29-31-33 stitches and work the 21-23-21-23-25-27 left shoulder stitches = 63-69-69-75-81-87 stitches. BACK PIECE: Continue the rib back and forth until the piece measures 8-9-9-10-10-10 cm = 3⅛"-3½"-3½"-4"-4"-4" from the cast-on edge. Work A.1 with 1 edge stitch in garter stitch on each side; on the first row in A.1 decrease 1 stitch = 62-68-68-74-80-86 stitches. On the last row in A.1 increase 1 stitch = 63-69-69-75-81-87 stitches. Work the next row as follows, from the wrong side: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, * purl 1, knit 1 *, work from *-* until there are 2 stitches left, purl 1 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. Continue this rib until the piece measures 19-20-21-22-23-24 cm = 7½"-8"-8¼"-8¾"-9"-9½" from the cast-on edge. Put work aside. LEFT FRONT SHOULDER: Cast on 21-23-21-23-25-27 stitches with circular needle size 6 MM = US 10 and DROPS Melody. Purl 1 row from the wrong side. Then work as follows from the right side: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch * knit 1, purl 1 *, work from *-* until there are 2 stitches left, knit 1 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. When the piece measures 4 cm = 1½", start to increase for the neck at the beginning of the row – read INCREASE TIP! Increase like this on each row from the right side a total of 4 times; work the yarn overs into the rib pattern = 25-27-25-27-29-31 stitches. When the increases are finished (after a row from the wrong side), place the stitches on a thread or extra needle, cut the strand. RIGHT FRONT SHOULDER: Cast on 21-23-21-23-25-27 stitches with circular needle size 6 MM = US 10 and DROPS Melody. Purl 1 row from the wrong side. Then work as follows from the right side: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch * knit 1, purl 1 *, work from *-* until there are 2 stitches left, knit 1 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. When the piece measures 4 cm = 1½", start to increase for the neck at the end of the row – read INCREASE TIP. Increase like this on each row from the right side a total of 4 times; work the yarn overs into the rib pattern = 25-27-25-27-29-31 stitches. After the last increase, work back from the wrong side. Work the next row as follows from the right side: Work the 25-27-25-27-29-31 right front piece stitches, cast on 13-15-19-21-23-25 stitches for the neck at the end of this row and work the 25-27-25-27-29-31 left front piece stitches as before = 63-69-69-75-81-87 stitches. Continue the rib until the piece measures 8-9-9-10-10-10 cm = 3⅛"-3½"-3½"-4"-4" -4" from the cast-on edge. Work A.1 with 1 edge stitch in garter stitch on each side; on the first row in A.1 decrease 1 stitch = 62-68-68-74-80-86 stitches. On the last row in A.1 increase 1 stitch = 63-69-69-75-81-87 stitches. Work the next row as follows, from the wrong side: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, * purl 1, knit 1 *, work from *-* until there are 2 stitches left, purl 1 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. Continue this rib until the piece measures 19-20-21-22-23-24 cm = 7½"-8"-8¼"-8¾"-9"-9½" from the cast-on edge. Now join the front and back pieces for the body, as described below. BODY: Work stockinette stitch over the 63-69-69-75-81-87 front piece stitches, cast on 6-6-12-12-18-18 stitches at the end of the row, work stockinette stitch over the 63-69-69-75-81-87 back piece stitches, cast on 6-6-12-12-18-18 stitches at the end of the row = 138-150-162-174-198-210 stitches. Start the round in the middle of the new stitches in the side and continue with rib (1 knit 1, purl 1) in the round for a further 5-5-6-5-6-7 cm = 2"-2"-2⅜"-2"-2⅜"-2¾". Work A.1 over all stitches. When A.1 is finished in height, work rib (knit 1, purl 1) for 5-5-6-5-6-7 cm = 2"-2"-2⅜"-2"-2⅜"-2¾". Work A.1 over all stitches. When A.1 is finished in height, work rib (knit 1, purl 1) to finished length. Bind off when the piece measures 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm = 20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜" from the shoulder down. ASSEMBLY: Sew the shoulder seams. SLEEVE: Knit up 54-56-58-62-64-68 stitches along the armhole, with short circular needle/ double pointed needles size 6 MM = US 10 and DROPS Melody – start at the bottom of the front piece where you cast on new stitches, knit up 27-28-29-31-32-34 stitches as far as the shoulder seam, then knit up 27-28-29-31-32-34 stitches from the shoulder seam down the back piece to the cast-on stitches. Work stockinette stitch back and forth for 2-2-4-4-6-6 cm = ¾"-¾"-1½"-1½"-2⅜"-2⅜". Now continue in the round. Insert 1 marker-thread in the first stitch on the round (mid-under sleeve). Allow the thread to follow your work onwards. Start at the marker-thread and work stockinette stitch in the round. When the sleeve measures 4-4-6-6-8-8 cm = 1½"-1½"-2⅜"-2⅜"-3⅛"-3⅛", decrease 2 stitches under the sleeve – read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 5-5-5-3½-3-2½ cm = 2"-2"-2"-1¼"-1⅛"-1" a total of 7-7-7-9-9-10 times = 40-42-44-44-46-48 stitches. Work until the sleeve measures 39-39-40-38-37-36 cm = 15¼"-15¼"-15¾"-15"-14½"-14¼". Work 2 RIDGES – read description above. Knit 1 round and increase 12-10-12-12-14-12 stitches evenly spaced = 52-52-56-56-60-60 stitches. Change to double pointed needles size 5 MM = US 8, work rib (knit 1, purl 1) for 10 cm = 4". Bind off. The sleeve measures approx. 49-49-50-48-47-46 cm = 19¼"-19¼"-19¾"-19"-18½"-18". Work the other sleeve in the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew the sleeve to the cast-on stitches on the armhole - see sketch. NECK: Use short circular needle size 5 MM = US 8. Start at one shoulder seam and knit up 60 to 88 stitches around the neck. The stitch-number should be divisible by 2. Work rib (knit 1, purl 1) in the round for 4 cm = 1½". Bind off. |

Was kann ich sonst noch tun? Ich wasche mir alle 15-20min die Hände. Das kann doch nicht gesund sein! Danke für jedwelche Ratschläge.

Liebe Helena, es kann manchmal sowas mit dunklen Farben passieren. Dunkle Farben enthalten anfangs oft zusätzliche Farbe, daher ist es wichtig, dass das Kleidungsstück so lange ausgespült wird, bis das Wasser klar ist. Damit vermeidet man, dass die überschüssige Farbe andere Farben des Strickstücks beeinträchtigt. Teilen Sie bitte alles mit Ihrem DROPS Händler, der uns das mitteilen wird. Viel Spaß beim stricken!
