NOTE: This pattern is written in American English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inch - click here. For this pattern in British English, please click here.CROCHET INFO: Replace first dc on round/row with ch 3. Finish each round/row with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round/1 dc in 3rd ch from beg of previous row.
STRIPES: Change color for each row, change as follows: powder pink, off-white, light gray.

FOOT:
Beg by toe. Ch 3 with hook size 8 mm / L/11 and powder pink Eskimo and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Continue in M.1 – See STRIPES. After M.1 continue as the last round in M.1, i.e. work 1 dc-group in each ch. AT THE SAME TIME on round 1 after M.1 inc 2-2-4 dc-groups evenly by working 2 dc-groups in the same ch = 12-12-14 dc-groups. Continue with last round in M.1 for approx 11-13-14 cm / 4 3/8"-5 1/8"-5½".
HEEL:
Now divide piece and crochet back and forth from mid upper foot – work M.2A, repeat M.2B and finish with M.2C – work dc-groups in ch as before. When slipper measures approx 22-24-27 cm / 8 3/4"-9½"-10 5/8" place it flat and crochet tog mid back with a row of sc through both layers. Cut and fasten thread.
LEG:
Crochet 1 round with sc round the opening (beg mid front). Continue with the last round in M.1 and in stripes until leg measures 8 cm / 3 1/8''. Cut and fasten thread.
TWISTED STRING: Cut 2 strands powder pink measuring 300 cm / 3.3 yds each. Twist them tog until they resist, fold them double and let them twist again. Tie a knot each end and insert string in transition between slipper and leg. Make 4 pink pompoms with a diameter of approx 3 cm / 1 1/8''. Attach a pompom to each end of both strings and tie a bow.
