Colour no 0206m, light beige
Use 100 g for a finished felted mobile pouch = 8 x 11 cm.
Estimate what you need for your size based on this.

DROPS NEEDLES SIZE 5 mm – or size needed to get 17 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm before felting (approx. 24 sts x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm after felting).

MOBILE POUCH MEASUREMENTS:
You need to insert some numbers yourself in order to make the pattern fit your mobile phone. Round off all numbers up to nearest whole number.

Measure the mobile's width ___ cm and height ___ cm and fill in the rest of the number.
The pattern requires the following numbers:
A: Multiply the width with 1.5 = ___ cm.
B: Multiply the number from A with 2.4 = _____ sts.
C: Multiply the height with 2.4 = ______ cm.
D: Multiply the number from C with 1.7 = _____ cm.
E: Multiply the number from D with 0.3 = _____ cm.


GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows.

MOBILE POUCH:
Start by measuring the mobile - see explanation above.
Worked back and forth on needle.
Cast on sts from B: _____ on needle size 5 mm with Nepal. Work in stocking st until piece measures D: ______ cm. Now work 2 rows in garter st - see explanation above - now measure piece from here!
Continue in stocking st until piece measures E: ______ cm. Cast off. Fold the piece double so that the cast on edge is against the garter st and sew a seam in the outermost st each side.

CROCHET BORDER:
Crochet a lace edge with hook size 5 mm along the cast off edge on the flap as follows:
1 dc in the corner, * 9 ch, skip 2 cm, 1 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire row.

STRAP:
Work the strap on hook size 5 mm and double thread. Beg with 1 dc in right side of pouch - in transition for flap, work 130 cm with ch, finish with 1 dc in left side of pouch. Cut and fasten the threads.

FELTING:
Place the bag in the washing machine with a detergent without enzymes and optical bleach. Wash at 40 degrees with normal spin but no pre-wash. After wash shape the bag to the right size while still wet and leave to dry flat. At subsequent wash, wash the bag at regular wool programme.
