See the last 50 comments to our patterns.

We take pride in providing patterns that are correct and easy to understand. All patterns are translated from Norwegian and you can always check the original pattern for measurements and calculations.

If we get a report of a potential error, we will review the pattern as soon as possible, and make the correction if necessary. This will normally be done within 2-3 days. If not, it means that we couldn't find any error/mistake. We then recommend you to get in contact with the store where you bought your yarn, or try to get help in the forums.

Dear Garn Studio, Could you please help clarify one of the lines in the pattern? For both the front and back sides, the last line states: 'crochet only 7/8/9 tr closest to the neck = shoulder'. Does this mean to crochet seven trebles on the final row for each sleeve, or something else? Kind regards.

      DROPS Design 19.06.2013 - 08:58:

Dear Mrs Tabi, you are correct, the final row is worked on the only 7 tr towards neckline to shape shoulder - see measurement chart to see the slanting line for shoulder. Happy crocheting!

I started this pattern and my "M.1" pattern did not come out right. I start the pattern from the bottom up and reversed the stitches on the right and wrong sides. Am I supposed to reverse the cable stitches also? Example: RS: sl 1 st on cable needle behind piece, K1, P1 from cable needle. On WS do I do the same or do I P1, K1? Thank you....:)

    • flag
      DROPS Design 18.06.2013 - 23:13:

Dear Linda, diagram is worked starting from corner at the bottom right towards the left from RS, then from WS from the left towards the right. 1st row (RS) = P3,slip 1st on cable needle behind piece,K1,K1 from cable needle,P3. 2nd row (WS) = K3,P2,K3.etc.. Do not hesitate to work a swatch with just a few sts to get used with that pattern. Happy knitting!

I am a new knitter and am having a problem with the Right Side of this pattern. I am making it in the smallest size. The diagram shows the side should measure 12.5 cm in total. However the instructions tell me to work until it is 12.5 cm, THEN do the buttonholes, THEN continue for 2.5 cm, making a total of just over 15 cm. please could you explain what I should do. Many thanks

    • flag
      DROPS Design 18.06.2013 - 09:20:

Dear Mrs Treaclesmum, you started with right sleeve and then cast on new sts for back piece and right front piece, and after 9 cm you continue separately on sts for front piece only, when this part (from where you cast on sts for front piece) measures 12.5 cm then open the buttonholes. If you look at the measurement chart, total width for body is 25 cm / 2 for each front piece = 12.5 cm for each front +2.5 cm overlapp for button band. Happy knitting!

Hola Arrate!

Was mache ich jetzt, Nadelstärke 20?

The instructions (at the beginning) say "P 1 round, then work in stockinette stitch." I have not used double pointed needles in many years, and am confused. Your "stockinette" video says to knit every row when using DP needles. But if I do that, the hat is going to have the "wrong side" facing out (the perl side), isn't that so? Because using DP needles, the side that is facing me as I work is the knit side, which is therefore enclosed by the four needles. Thanks for your help!

Dear Mrs Welsh, hat starts with a P round (P every st in the round), but then you continue in stocking st = working each sts knitwise all the round. Happy knitting!

Heel leuk om te haken! Echt frisse kleuren.
