Corrections for DROPS No. 113

All our patterns are carefully reviewed and proof read. We take pride in providing knitting and crochet patterns that are correct and easy to understand, but we cannot be held responsible for possible mistakes. The patterns on our website are always updated immediately if we discover a mistake.

Pattern 1

BOBBLE: 3 tr crochet tog, i.e. wait with the last pull through in each tr until all 3 tr are crochet, yarn over hook and pull through all 4 loops on hook.

SQUARES:
Work 4 ch with crochet hook size 4 mm and form a ring with a sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: 6 dc in ring – SEE CROCHET TIP!
ROUND 2: 2 dc in each dc = 12 dc.
ROUND 3: 2 tr in each dc = 24 tr.
ROUND 4: * 1 dc in tr, 3 ch, skip 1 tr *, repeat from *-* = 12 ch-loops
ROUND 5: Crochet as follows in the first ch-loop [-]: * [1 bobble - see above, 2 ch, 1 bobble, 4 ch (= corner), 1 bobble, 2 ch, 1 bobble], then continue with 3 ch, 1 htr in dc between the next 2 ch-loops, 3 ch, in next ch-loop crochet as in first ch-loop [-] *.
Repeat from *-* a total of 4 times, but the last time finish after 3 ch with 1 sl st at the top of the first bobble.
ROUND 6: * 2 dc in the first 2-ch-loop, 6 dc in next 4-ch-loop (= corner), 2 dc in next 2-ch-loop, 3 dc in next 3-ch-loop, 3 dc in next 3-ch-loop *, repeat from *-*.

DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm) size 5.5 mm – or size needed to get 16 sts x 22 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm) size 3 mm – or size needed to get 22 sts x 30 rows in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm.

INCREASING TIP:
Inc 1 st by making 1 YO before the stich before the marker and 1 YO after the stitch after the marker. Work YO into back of loop on return row to avoid a hole.

CROCHET SQUARES:

Explanation Bobble: 3 tr crochet tog: wait with the last pull-through until all 3 tr have been crochet, make a yarn over hook and pull yarn through all 4 sts on hook.

Work 4 ch with crochet hook size 3.5 mm and Fabel and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: 6 dc in ring.
ROUND 2: 2 dc in each dc = 12 dc.
ROUND 3: 2 tr in each dc (replace first tr with 3 ch), only crochet in the back loop of sts = 24 tr.
ROUND 4: 4 ch, skip 1 tr, * 1 dc, 3 ch, skip 1 tr *, repeat from *-*, and finish with 1 sl st in first ch = 12 ch-loops
ROUND 5: 4 ch, in first ch-loop crochet from *-* as follows: * 1 bobble - see above, 2 ch, 1 bobble, 4 ch, 1 bobble, 2 ch, 1 bobble *, 3 ch, 1 tr in dc between the next 2 ch-loops, 3 ch, in next ch-loop crochet from *-* as above, 4 ch, 1 tr in dc between the next 2 ch-loops, 4 ch, in next ch-loop crochet from *-* as above, 3 ch, 1 tr in dc between the next 2 ch-loops, 3 ch, in next ch-loop crochet from *-* as above, and finish with 1 ch and 1 sl st in third ch from beg of round.
Two of the sides are now the same width, approx 6 cm, 1 is smaller, approx 5 cm and 1 is wider, approx 7 cm.
ROUND 6: Crochet dc’s in all ch-loops as follows: 1 dc in first ch-loop, 2 dc in next, 5 dc in next (= corner), then 2 dc, 3 dc, 3 dc, 2 dc, 5 dc (= corner), 2 dc, 4 dc, 4 dc, 2 dc, 5 dc (= corner), 2 dc, 3 dc, 3 dc, 2 dc, 5 dc (= corner), 2 dc and 1 dc in the last ch-loop, finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round. Cut the thread.

NOTE: to avoid a hole pick up 2 sts between sts on needle and sts on stitch holder. On next row work these 2 sts and st from stitch holder tog to 1.
